Independent Financial Adviser – Burgess Hill, England, United Kingdom. AFH is seeking an experienced financial adviser to join as a self-employed or employed adviser in a progressive, client-focused, wealth management firm. The role offers home-based/remote working with access to office locations if preferred, and attendance at face-to-face client meetings is expected.

Responsibilities
* Follow the Six-Stage Advice Process to build long-term relationships and deliver excellent client outcomes
* Review and respond to clients’ changing needs and financial circumstances, updating Introducers and clients on new products or changes to legislation affecting pensions, savings, investments, and financial plans
* Acquire and develop new business from new/existing clients and professional introducers through personal planning, referrals, and the company lead generation programme
* Optimise marketing opportunities, including via social media and networking with introducers and other professionals to develop new business
* Develop and maintain good client and introducer relationships through meetings, seminars, and continuous feedback to the team
* Contact corporate and individual clients to set up meetings, in-office, at clients’ homes or business premises, or virtually via Microsoft Teams
* Conduct in-depth reviews of clients’ financial circumstances, current provisions, and future aims; analyse information, conduct research, and prepare financial planning reports to meet individual needs across all areas of advice
* Deliver accurate management information as requested
Qualifications and Skills
* Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or FCA-approved equivalent) and maintain CF30 status in accordance with FCA regulations
* Client-centric approach with clear communication, professionalism, and dedication to acting in clients’ best interests
* Excellent interpersonal skills, approachability, and professionalism; ability to utilise IT to communicate with clients in virtual/digital formats
* Experience in networking and attracting new clients through business development and effective planning to grow a client bank; ability to build relationships with affinity groups, business owners, entrepreneurs, and both professional and retail clients
