Responsibilities
* The Electrical Engineer (Compliance) will report to the Site Engineering Maintenance Manager (Compliance) for Leven Packaging.
* The aim is to ensure the site is electrically compliant in accordance with current legislation and Diageo Global Technical standards.
* Prepare reports and update visual management for maintenance manager.

Key Accountabilities
* To provide solutions to comply with electrical legislation and ensure that site can demonstrate and maintain compliance.
* Coordinate external electrical compliance service and inspection contracts. Support site in the completion of remedial actions following service and inspection visits.
* Ensure all Compliance / Legislative PPMs are set up in SAP with robust task lists and frequencies aligned to statutory guidance.
* Assist in developing standardised engineering strategies for electrical functional safety across site.
* Ensure compliance with Engineering SFIPs and PUWER risk assessments are maintained, reviewed and delivered for new equipment on sites.
* Keep abreast of regulatory developments within or outside of the company as well as evolving best practices in compliance control.
* Ensure all electrical site drawings and documents are up to date and readily accessible/available.
Essential Experience
* Computer literate (e.g. Microsoft Office and CMMS such as SAP)
* At least 5 years' experience working as a maintenance electrician in a manufacturing environment
* Ability to read and understand electrical drawings
Desirable Experience
* Electrical legislation and standards
* Machinery and Functional safety systems
* ME, packaging, lean methodologies, process control, RCM
* SAP (or MRP systems), Planned Maintenance, Environmental and Quality systems
Working Hours
* Monday to Thursday: 8 AM to 4:45 PM
* Friday: until 1 PM

Site-based role with full-time onsite parking available

* Time served Electrical engineer preferably with HNC
* Compex 1-4
* 18th Edition
As a temporary contractor, you'll be employed by our Managed Service Provider, Magnit Global, who manage most of our temporary contract hiring; you will not be employed by Diageo.
