Contract Type: Permanent About Fleet Mortgages We are Fleet Mortgages, a people-focused business specialising in buy-to-let lending. We’ve been providing our fair and trusted service since 2014, and we were acquired by Starling Bank in 2021. We are seeking a Sales Administrator to join our Sales Team in Fleet, Hampshire. This role will be responsible for providing expertise to our intermediary partners and support the sales process through administrative duties as well as answering and managing our front-line telephone enquiries. This is a customer facing role requiring excellent customer service skills in order to promote Fleet Mortgages and to provide expert knowledge on products, lending criteria and technical expertise to our intermediary partners. Some of your day to day will include: Taking responsibility for inbound traffic via calls, emails and Live Chat to resolve enquires to the intermediary’s satisfaction. Providing technical expertise to intermediaries on Fleet Mortgages’ products and underwriting criteria and technical IT support to intermediaries and problem solve intermediary portal issues. Providing support to Business Development Managers. Maintaining the intermediary database and set up new companies ensuring processes for distribution routes are followed. Liaising with Operations for pre and post-sale queries to meet service standards and achieve results. Taking responsibility for regularly updating own knowledge on company products, processes and procedures to provide the best information at all times. To be successful you will need: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, is essential. Enthusiastic, flexible and keen to learn and build a career in Financial Services. Previous experience working in the Mortgage or Financial Services industry would be an advantage, but not essential. Proven sales experience in either a face to face or telephone-based environment would be an advantage. PC literate with a good knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. CeMAP, or willingness to study for CeMAP, would be an advantage, but not essential.
