The Role & Responsibilities Supporting the Head of History, you will deliver a broad and diverse curriculum that spans from the medieval period to modern global politics. Academic Delivery: Teaching History across KS3 and KS4, focusing on evidence-based argument, source analysis, and sophisticated historiography. Mentoring Excellence: Participating in the school's internal "Teaching Lab" where staff share innovative methods for teaching complex, and sometimes sensitive, historical concepts. Curriculum Innovation: Helping to refine schemes of work that reflect the diverse backgrounds of our student body in Brent. Professional Induction: Weekly 1:1 sessions with a dedicated mentor to support your transition into the profession and ensure a successful end to your first year.
