A Day in the Life of an Infrastructure Security Service Technician
You will maintain project-specific systems, including computers, data networks, digital video cameras and recorders, power supplies, fiber optics, and other cabling in a designated US region. Responsibilities include installing, updating, maintaining hardware and software, managing asset records, and troubleshooting complex hardware/software issues using diagnostic tools. You will work independently, maintain tools and equipment, complete logs and reports, and participate in ongoing training to enhance your skills.
Required Qualifications
* High school diploma or GED; an Associate's Degree in Information Technology or a related field from an accredited institution.
* Knowledge of telecommunication systems, circuit boards, processors, chips, and electronic equipment.
* Familiarity with computer hardware, software, data networks, digital video systems, fiber optics, and electronics fundamentals.
* The ability to obtain and maintain required government security clearances.
* Valid driver's license and ability to meet safe driving requirements.
* Ability to secure a US Passport or Passport Card as needed.
* Willingness to travel approximately 75% of the time to remote US locations.
