Job Description
The role involves understanding, communicating and managing client expectations to achieve a superior outcome. You will brief, coordinate and monitor all parties (not manage) to ensure that each project, whatever scale or level of complexity, is planned properly and on-site activities are executed accurately and safely.
Responsibilities
* Take complete ownership of the project from cradle to grave, developing strong relationships with client contacts, marketing teams and distributors.
* Inform clients and internal teams about project details, planning, timing and financial status.
* Provide input, assign roles and tasks to external parties, collect output, and present to clients and team members from conception to completion.
* Track and communicate project spend, manage variations and approvals.
* Oversee on-site teams including contractors and fitters at appropriate stages of the project.
Qualifications / Person Specification
* Proven track record of project management, capable of handling multiple projects from start to finish (feasibility, design, procurement, construction, operations and close).
* Experience in a creative environment is preferred but not essential.
* Experience in full-service retail design, shop fit-out, construction, restaurants, hotels, gyms, laboratories, schools is advantageous.
* Experience with complex projects requiring structural alterations, permissions, compliance and approvals.
* Knowledge of project management software (e.g., OmniPlan, MS Project, AutoCAD).
