Sheridan Maine looking for a qualified ACCA, ACA, or CIMA Accountant with experience in statutory accounts. This is a great opportunity to take ownership of year-end reporting and audits while also supporting the wider Management Accounting function.
What you’ll be doing:
* Leading the preparation of draft annual statutory accounts and supporting schedules
* Acting as the main point of contact for the external audit
* Posting month-end journals and helping with reconciliations where needed
* Supporting the Management Accounting team with ad-hoc projects
* Maintaining strong relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders
* Identifying ways to improve processes and drive efficiency within the team
Who we’re looking for:
* Fully qualified (ACCA, ACA, CIMA) with 2–3 years’ experience in statutory accounting and audit
* Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to hit deadlines
* Confident in Excel and MS Office, with excellent attention to detail
* Professional, collaborative, and customer-focused with excellent communication skills
