We are seeking to appoint a dynamic part-time Progress Tutor to join our team and support our Level 1 learners in achieving their full potential and progressing to their next steps.
The curriculum area has over 300 learners enrolled in a wide range of Level 1 foundation learning programmes and specialist provisions.
The successful candidate will manage and coach a caseload of learners in partnership with curriculum staff, other progress tutors, and team members. They will be responsible for delivering the personal, social, and development aspects of the tutorial programme, along with sessions to develop transferable skills such as team building, communication, and confidence.
You will deliver inspiring tutorial support to ensure all students are supported to succeed through high-quality and challenging learning experiences.
The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal and organisational skills, patience, excellent communication, and the ability to work effectively within a large cross-curricular team. You should have excellent planning and administrative skills and be able to work to deadlines. The ability to foster independent thinking and manage behaviour effectively is also essential. A Level 3 qualification and experience in an educational setting are required for this role.
