The Role: Provide direct support to students in a group and individual setting. Actively participate in a wide range of classroom and physical activities, contributing to lessons alongside the Class Teacher and Teaching Assistant. Receive excellent on-the-job training, continued professional development, and supervision. Assist in lesson preparation, contribute to schemes of work, Individual Student Plans (ISP), and Care Plans under the guidance of the Class Teacher. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of each student's development stage, including assessment, communication, ISPs, and management programs. Support in planning educational visits, school journeys, and accompany students on visits. Work during lunchtime and supervise break times. Ensure compliance with school policies, especially those related to child protection, safeguarding, health and safety, security, confidentiality, and data protection. Requirements: NVQ Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning (desirable but not essential). Maths and English GCSE Grade C or above. Relevant experience working with students with autism or learning disabilities in an educational setting (advantageous).
