Responsibilities
1. Calibration/validation/repair of electrical / electronic test instruments to maintain functionality and accuracy.
2. Both Keysight and non-Keysight products are serviced. Work is performed at the Telford Service Centre.
3. Performing routine tasks, using prescribed procedures and technical duties that may require use of judgment.
4. Solving a broad range of technical problems of varying scope and complexity.
5. Understand customers’ requirements through face to face and written communication.
6. Travel to customer sites <25% performing calibrations (On-site).
You will be working in a team of experienced technicians and will be responsible for all steps in calibration and training will be given where required.
Qualifications
7. Education and technical knowledge within sector and role
8. Certifications as an electronic/electrical technician with relevant experience in calibration
9. IT knowledge (Windows, Office)
10. Good communication skills in English (both written and spoken)
11. Confident at answering customer questions
12. Ability to recognize and anticipate problems and search proactively for solutions
13. Ability to work independently and proactive attitude
14. Able to obtain UK security clearance
