General Operative (Finishing)
Location: Wellington
Hours: 42.5 per week
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Working Hours:
* Monday – Thursday: 07:30 – 17:00
* Friday: 08:00 – 15:00
About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented General Operative to join our team in a finishing role. You will be responsible for ensuring products are completed to a high standard before dispatch. This is a hands-on position, ideal for someone who takes pride in their work and thrives in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Perform finishing tasks including sanding, trimming, polishing, cleaning and surface preparation
2. Inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
3. Safely operate hand tools, power tools and finishing equipment
4. Work to production schedules and meet daily targets
