Are you ready to lead a dynamic team that ensures quality and safety in highway development projects? Based in Brixworth, Northamptonshire, you will play a crucial role in monitoring the construction phase of highways as part of new developments in both West Northamptonshire and North Northamptonshire.
Job Details
Location: Brixworth, Northamptonshire - Travel to the office and developer sites required, with some remote working available.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week - Flexibility on hours available; just let us know when you speak to us.
Salary: £58,000 - £62,000 per year + £5.9k annual car allowance + private healthcare + benefits.

Your Responsibilities
As a Team Leader, you will:
* Lead and mentor a team of site inspectors, developing their skills and ensuring high performance.
* Monitor developer works for compliance with approved documentation and specifications.
* Ensure operational and public safety within the highway, including traffic management compliance.
* Liaise with developers, designers, contractors, and local highway authority teams to identify and agree on design changes for compliant, high-quality schemes.
* Ensure health and safety compliance on all projects.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you:
* Hold an HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in civil engineering or have relevant experience.
* Bring significant experience supervising highway works on site, including knowledge of Section 38 and 278 processes.
* Understand the Safety at Street Works and Road Works code of practice.
* Possess in-depth knowledge of CDM regulations.
* Can accurately and consistently follow technical, legal, and administrative procedures.
