IT Support Technician, permanent, full-time position, fully office-based Monday to Friday in central Staplehurst. We’re growing and need a qualified, tech-savvy IT Support Technician with Active Directory, Office 365, and helpdesk support experience to join our friendly team. Travel within the UK is required, so a full driving licence and a car are necessary.
You’ll be the first point of contact for our UK sites for all IT issues and requests. This includes traveling to sites to implement new technology and resolve issues. It’s a great opportunity for an experienced IT Support Technician who loves technology and seeks career progression. We are a friendly, supportive team.
Essential qualifications include previous experience as an IT Support Technician, good knowledge of various IT systems and software, strong people skills, and a passion for technology.
Responsibilities for IT Support Technician
* Provide high-quality IT support via helpdesk, phone, and email.
* Manage support tickets, take corrective actions, and escalate issues as needed.
* Proactively handle housekeeping tasks to enhance security and prevent future issues.
* Create, manage, and maintain user accounts and permissions using Active Directory, Office 365, and other platforms.
* Assist with PC moves, setups, configurations, and improvements.
* Maintain the IT inventory, ensuring it is always current.
* Coordinate with IT suppliers to escalate issues, and implement updates and improvements.
Requirements
* Willingness to travel frequently to various sites.
