Overview
A fast‑growing, product‑led business is seeking a dynamic and hands‑on Operations Leader to take full ownership of its end‑to‑end operational performance. This role is central to scaling the business - strengthening manufacturing, supply chain, quality, logistics, and customer operations while supporting rapid growth.
You’ll work closely with senior leadership, own operational strategy, and build the processes, teams, and partnerships needed to move from small‑scale production to a fully scalable, efficient operation.
The Opportunity
This is a true ownership role - not just maintaining operations but shaping and scaling them. You’ll lead everything from procurement and supply chain to manufacturing, quality, fulfilment, and customer operations. You will also manage key suppliers, ensure cost control, and drive continuous improvement across the business.
What You’ll Be Doing
Operational Leadership
* Own the full operational lifecycle: procurement, manufacturing, global supply chain, quality, fulfilment, and customer operations.
* Ensure the business can scale efficiently while meeting growing demand.
* Build processes, controls, and systems that support growth without slowing agility.
Manufacturing & Supply Chain
* Lead relationships with manufacturers, component suppliers, and logistics partners.
* Manage sourcing of raw materials, components, packaging, and services at the right cost and quality.
* Build a resilient and scalable supply chain model.
Production & Quality
* Oversee production performance, efficiency, and on‑time delivery.
* Maintain and evolve the Quality Management System.
* Ensure compliance, product consistency, and robust quality controls.
Logistics, Fulfilment & Customer Operations
* Build a seamless distribution and returns process, including repairs and customer support.
* Oversee onboarding workflows to deliver a smooth experience for customers and end‑users.
Process, Controls & Improvement
* Drive continuous improvement, lean practices, and operational excellence.
* Manage COGS and implement strategies to reduce unit costs as production scales.
* Implement loss‑prevention strategies, conduct audits, and lead incident investigations.
* Work closely with R&D, engineering, finance, and commercial teams.
* Communicate clearly with stakeholders, clients, suppliers, and senior leadership.
About You
* 5-10+ years’ experience in operational leadership (manufacturing, hardware, FMCG, electronics, wellness tech, medical devices or similar environments).
* Proven ability to scale operations from prototype/small‑batch to high‑volume production.
* Strong commercial awareness with excellent cost and margin understanding.
* Comfortable being strategic while still rolling up your sleeves when needed.
* Skilled in building processes, systems, and workflows that support growth.
* Strong supplier management, negotiation, and stakeholder communication skills.
* Tech‑savvy - familiar with ERP/MRP systems and product lifecycle management tools.
* Strong leadership skills with experience developing high‑performing teams.
* Knowledge of health & safety regulations and quality management best practices.
Experience in consumer electronics, medical devices, or complex supply chains is a plus - but mindset and capability matter most.
