Role: Neighbourhood Policing Review Consultant REF 375971 Contract Length: Expected 3 months. Location: Stafford IR35: Inside Pay Rate to Intermediary: £500 - £650 per day Spinwell is recruiting for an Neighbourhood Policing Review Consultant for an excellent opportunity within the public sector. RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE NEIGHBOURHOOD POLICING REVIEW CONSULTANT Independent review of neighbourhood policing model to ensure alignment of workforce resource and mix to deliver NPG outcomes and policing plan priorities Assessment of current allocation of resources across the 10 local policing teams, identifying opportunities for optimisation and consistency Review of officer and PCSO workforce mix, including role clarity and effectiveness in meeting neighbourhood demand Evaluation of how neighbourhood resources interact with response demand, particularly during peak pressure, to inform a whole-system approach, and deliver on "Neighbourhood Crime" Development of evidence-based recommendations to improve efficiency, resilience and visibility of neighbourhood policing Baseline assessment of current operating model, workforce distribution and performance Benchmarking against comparable forces / best practice Clear set of options and recommendations, including workforce mix and deployment changes Implementation considerations, including dependencies with HR, timelines and risks Final report and executive briefing to Chief Officer team SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE NEIGHBOURHOOD POLICING REVIEW CONSULTANT Proven experience in policing operating model reviews, particularly neighbourhood policing and response integration Strong understanding of workforce planning, including officer/PCSO mix, rank structure and demand modelling Experience of delivering against national policing frameworks and government outcome measures (including Neighbourhood Policing Guarantee) Capability in data analysis, demand profiling and performance benchmarking across geographic areas Experience engaging senior stakeholders and translating findings into practical, deliverable recommendations Warwickshire NPPV level 3 Vetting would be preferred If you are a Neighbourhood Policing Review Consultant, apply now or send your CV to Spinwell!
