What you’ll be doing:
* Lead a small team of food managers to oversee the grocery shop floor in one of our supermarkets.
* Execute engaging trading events by collaborating closely with the store leadership team, especially during festive seasons like Christmas or Easter, to ensure success.
* Take full accountability for the store in the absence of a store manager, role model high standards, and coach for efficiency across the food hall.
* Manage compliance with processes and safety regulations while fostering passion for excellent shopkeeping and creating fantastic shopping experiences.
* Be responsible for a large team of colleagues, ensuring they perform at their best, are present on the shop floor when needed, and that all people-related matters are handled appropriately, from celebrating successes to managing difficult situations.
