Workshop Supervisor Vacancy in Kidderminster
Salary: £45,000 basic per annum - OTE £47,000
Hours: 45 hours per week, 12:30 - 22:00
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Workshop Supervisor to lead a late-shift team. This role combines hands‑on vehicle repair with supervisory responsibilities, supporting technicians and ensuring efficient, high‑quality work throughput.

Key Responsibilities as a Workshop Supervisor
* Perform major and minor repairs on heavy goods vehicles, trailers, and other vehicles
* Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance services (tyre rotations, oil changes, etc.)
* Support and supervise repair teams, helping diagnose and plan repairs efficiently
* Maintain workshop inventory and cleanliness, including safe handling of oil and dust
* Keep accurate records of all vehicles repaired or serviced
* Provide emergency repair services for clients when required
* Complete necessary documentation, including warranty claims or escalation to management
Requirements of the Workshop Supervisor
* Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds, or IMI Qualification in HGV Vehicle Repair and Maintenance
* Ability to identify worn and faulty components in line with DVSA standards
* Current, full UK driving licence for relevant vehicle classes
* Strong leadership and team‑support skills
* Hands‑on experience with HGVs and trailers
