Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee all incoming and outgoing deliveries, warehouse operations, inventory control, and warehouse staff. The successful candidate will ensure goods are received, stored, and dispatched efficiently while maintaining accurate stock records and ensuring smooth day-to-day warehouse activities.
Key ResponsibilitiesDelivery & Logistics Management
* Manage all incoming and outgoing deliveries
* Coordinate the receiving, unloading, checking, and storage of goods
* Ensure all outbound deliveries are prepared, packed, and dispatched accurately and on time
* Liaise with suppliers, drivers, courier companies, and internal departments regarding deliveries
* Monitor delivery schedules and resolve any shipment or dispatch issues
* Ensure all delivery documentation is completed accurately
Warehouse Operations
* Oversee the daily running of warehouse operations
* Ensure the warehouse is organised, clean, and operating efficiently
* Monitor workflow and allocate tasks to warehouse staff
* Implement operational procedures to improve efficiency and productivity
Inventory Management
* Maintain accurate stock and inventory records
* Conduct regular stock counts and inventory audits
* Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies
* Monitor damaged, missing, or slow-moving stock
* Ensure proper stock rotation and storage procedures are followed
Staff Management
* Supervise warehouse staff and daily activities
* Manage staff schedules, shifts, and warehouse duties
* Train employees on warehouse procedures and safety standards
* Monitor employee performance, attendance, and productivity
Systems & Reporting
* Operate warehouse management and inventory systems
* Prepare inventory, delivery, and operational reports
* Track KPIs relating to stock accuracy, delivery performance, and warehouse efficiency
Health & Safety
* Ensure compliance with warehouse health and safety regulations
* Maintain safe storage and handling procedures
* Conduct regular warehouse safety checks
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or similar role
* Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics
* Experience managing incoming and outgoing deliveries
* Good inventory and stock management knowledge
* Strong leadership and organisational skills
* Ability to manage teams and work under pressure
* Good communication and problem-solving skills
* Proficient in warehouse systems and Microsoft Excel
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience using ERP or warehouse management systems such as Odoo or SAP
* Background in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse operations
* Forklift licence or warehouse safety certification is advantageous
