Job Description:
Archer Resourcing has a brand-new Social Worker position available in Maidenhead.
If you are passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of children and young people, you could have the opportunity to work with a supportive and reliable team. The Children In Care Team is looking for an experienced Social Worker in Maidenhead during a time of exciting and positive change. You will be:
* Supporting children in long-term care, either via Care Orders or Section 20
* Progressing long-term care planning, including pathway planning and assisting young people with their transition to adulthood
* Collaborating with families, foster carers, residential settings, and semi-independent settings to meet children’s needs
* Assessing the needs of children
* Handling court work under the Children Act 1989 & 2004
Requirements:
* Degree in Social Work/Diploma in Social Work/CQSW and not newly qualified
* Knowledge and experience of statutory frameworks, policies, procedures, and best practices
* Proficient IT skills
* High level of determination, organizational skills, personal drive, energy, and ambition to meet challenging targets and improve outcomes
* Sound assessment and case management skills
* Ability to work in a busy environment with tight deadlines
