Job Role Title Ocean BMW Plymouth are looking for a part time Cleaner to join its team and support the daily function of the whole site. Key Responsibilities: Able to work independently, responsible for carrying out day to day routine and ad-hoc cleaning duties, as defined by the Head of Business, ensuring that the necessary brand standards are met and operating in line with health and safety policies. Main duties include: • Perform general cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting across all areas of the business. • Ensure that customer facing areas are always kept to a high standard of cleanliness. • Empty waste bins and replace liners daily. • Clean and sanitise kitchen facilities, including sinks, worktops, appliances, and cupboard exteriors. • Clean and sanitise customer refreshment facilities as required throughout the day. • Maintain washroom and toilet cleanliness, ensuring adequate supplies are available. • Clear down and sanitise communal areas and meeting rooms. • Restock kitchen and cleaning supplies as required. • Monitor the condition of office areas and report any maintenance or health and safety concerns to the relevant manager. • Ensure all cleaning equipment and materials are stored safely and used in accordance with health and safety guidelines. Essential Skills: • Proven experience in a cleaning or facilities role. • Good attention to detail, able to deliver a high level of cleanliness and customer service. • Comfortable working independently using own initiative as required. • Ability to prioritise tasks effectively. • Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic. • Understanding of safe handling and storage of cleaning products (COSHH training provided if required).
