Are you ready to make a meaningful difference in the lives of NHS staff? We are looking for an experienced and motivated Lead Psychologist to join our fast-growing Occupational Health Psychology Service. This is a unique opportunity to provide individual psychological therapy to hospital staff, work directly with teams to support their wellbeing, and play a key role in shaping and delivering the overall strategy of our service.
You'll be part of an innovative, supportive team committed to improving the psychological health of our NHS Trust workforce.
Responsibilities
* Provide a qualified psychological service to staff, and advice and guidance to line managers.
* Provide specialist psychological assessment and individual therapy and support as needed.
* Offer supervision, teaching, training, and consultation on staff psychological care to non-psychologist colleagues as appropriate.
* Demonstrate the ability to work flexibly and autonomously within professional guidelines and the OH team's policies and procedures.
* Utilise evidence-based outcome measures and treatment approaches to ensure a consistent and high-quality service.
* Utilise research skills for audit, policy and service development, service evaluation and research within the area served by the team/service.
* Join and attend relevant professional and clinically relevant meetings (e.g., BPS Faculty of Clinical Health Psychology, Faculty of Occupational Medicine, Society of Occupational Medicine) as encouraged.
