We seek Trustees who can think creatively and strategically, with effective communication skills and personal qualities such as enthusiasm, commitment, and a strong sense of equity, diversity, and inclusion.
Previous governance experience is not required; full induction and training will be provided. Trustees may be involved beyond Board meetings, including scrutinising papers, leading discussions, advising on initiatives, or representing the organisation externally.

What will you be doing?
Supporting Oxford Wood Recycling’s strategy, overseeing governance, financial planning, risk management, and promoting the organisation externally. Trustees act collectively to guide and support the executive team, ensuring the organisation’s growth and alignment with its mission.
Key Responsibilities
* Approve strategies, policies, and monitor implementation.
* Oversee financial plans, budgets, and statements.
* Ensure effective administration and risk management.
* Support the CEO and contribute to governance reviews.
* Attend meetings and promote Oxford Wood Recycling’s objectives externally.
