First Military Recruitment are currently supporting our client in the search for a Patient Development Specialist.
Our client is keen to offer opportunities to Ex-Military personnel, but all applications will be considered.
Duties and Responsibilities of a Patient Development Specialist:
1. Ideally you will have a proven track record in customer service environment working with high volume calls.
2. You will be a good listener, a strong team player, be able to work to deadlines and have the ability to demonstrate empathy over the phone.
3. Provide a first-class service experience to ensure patients remain on our service
4. Complaint management
5. Action new patient intro calls in line with the procedure to ensure they fully understand the service provided
6. Call patients on a regular basis and assist with product information
7. Identify patient advocates – products and services
8. Work closely with the patients HCP to ensure everyone is kept up to date
9. Take an active part in all departmental meetings.
10. Action all reports within time scales set
11. Cover for other team members if required
12. Perform any other tasks reasonably requested by the Company as required
13. Work to targets set by your line manager
Skills and Qualifications:
14. Proven telephone based Customer Service background
15. Empathy towards patients with complex medical conditions
16. Proven experience of managing high call volumes
17. Possess influential and persuasive skill set
18. Excellent telephone manner
19. Excellent communication, oral and written, skills
20. Able to work under pressure
21. Able to multitask
22. Possess a ‘can do’ attitude

Location: High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire
Salary: £21,000 to £23,000 per Annum DOE
