Abri is a G1/V1 and Moody’s A3 rated group and we’re excited to be looking for a Head of Treasury to join our Corporate Finance team where you’ll be a key player in ensuring the group optimises its financial strength and viability through robust liquidity and cash management. You will play an important role in ensuring Abri achieves its corporate objectives, whilst also helping to safeguard our future through proactive and robust treasury management activities, commensurate with role.
No two days will be the same in this role so enthusiasm, a can-do attitude and a genuine passion for always wanting to go the extra mile is important. Excellent communication is essential since you’ll lead, develop, manage and inspire a team of financial professionals to make sure that they are always being kept in the loop to ensure Abri’s continued success.
With your expertise, you’ll make sure that we adhere to our policies and are compliant with the requirements set out by our funding arrangements. You’ll work collaboratively with key stakeholders and maintain the high levels of integrity of our regulatory and covenant reporting. Remember, we don’t just want to do things the way they’ve always been done, we want do things even better!
You’ll support Director of Corporate Finance in raising funding for the group, minimising restrictions and costs for Abri; a key player in Abri’s ambitions to raise sustainable linked funding, taking ownership for all reporting requirements, and securing low cost funding to enable delivery of Abri’s corporate objectives.
You’ll research and recommend appropriate financial instruments, including funding and derivatives, to aid the business in reaching its key milestones. Actively contribute in treasury negotiations, optimising value and suitability for Abri, including minimising restrictions and improving optionality for Abri and using effective reporting and analysis support the Director of Corporate Finance to enable effective decision making in treasury and funding matters.
You’ll have the confidence and assertiveness to engage with key stakeholders, sometimes managing difficult conversations, and using your excellent people skills to resolve any issues and preserve value for Abri.
You'll be based from one of our Eastleigh (SO50 6AD), Bracknell (RG12 1RF) or Yeovil (BA22 8WN) offices a minimum of three days per week to connect and collaborate with colleagues and the other two days can be worked from at a place of your choosing whether that's at another of our offices, a cafe or at home.
