We are seeking an organised and detail-oriented Administrative Co-ordinator to be based at Dinorwig Power Station on a Fixed Term Contract to June 2027.
As the Administrative Co-Ordinator, you will provide dedicated administrative and co-ordination support to project and outage engineers involved in the refurbishment and replanting of Dinorwig Power Station. This role is critical to ensuring compliance with site security and access procedures, and to facilitate seamless collaboration across site security personnel, FHC project teams, engineers, and external contractors.
Key Accountabilities:
* Project & Outage Support
- Support planning and scheduling of refurbishment and outage works in collaboration with engineering and project teams.
- Maintain accurate documentation of project timelines, personnel schedules, contractor presence, and equipment logistics.
- Prepare, update, and circulate reports and trackers on work progress and daily activities.
* Security Compliance & Site Access
- Ensure all internal and external personnel are pre-notified and cleared for site access in compliance with security policies.
- Check and verify ID and credentials of all personnel entering site.
- Manage and document the delivery of site inductions, ensuring full compliance with safety and procedural requirements.
- Act as a central contact for managing and escalating access or identification issues.
* Liaison & Communication
- Act as liaison between security personnel, FHC project management, engineering teams, and contractors.
- Clearly communicate site access requirements and updates to all stakeholders.
- Facilitate resolution of concerns or misunderstandings regarding access, safety, or scheduling.
* Documentation & Compliance
- Keep detailed and accurate logs of inductions, site access permissions, and contractor documentation.
- Ensure all administrative procedures align with compliance requirements relevant to a power station undergoing major works.
- Assist with audit preparation, inspections, and producing documentation as required by project or regulatory standards.
Knowledge, Experience & Skills
* Proven administrative or coordination experience in an industrial, engineering, or construction environment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.
* Strong organisational and document management capabilities.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and administrative software tools.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities, remain calm under pressure, and meet critical deadlines.
Qualifications:
* Certification in Business Administration or Project Support.
* Knowledge of digital induction or contractor management systems.
* Experience supporting compliance or regulatory activities in a technical environment.
