We are looking to appoint a Contracts Administrator to join our friendly team at Bagnalls Painting & Decorators in Cleckheaton. The role is expected to be based in our office and will involve working alongside experienced team members in a welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
 * Provide support to the management and sales team, including filing, photocopying, and scanning.
 * Greet visitors, answer phone calls, and respond to inquiries in a professional manner.
 * Create and maintain accurate documents such as staff training records, vehicle fleet information, and new starter information.
 * Stay responsible for all office inventory, including stationery, PPE, uniform, and kitchen supplies.
 * Handle financial administration tasks, such as contacting debtors, checking credit card reports, and working closely with the finance team on a variety of procedures.
 * Regularly engage with customers, including professionally pursuing overdue payments and handling complaints when necessary.
Qualifications
 * Confident individual with excellent IT and literacy skills.
 * Strong communication abilities, both verbal and written.
 * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
 * Excellent organisational and time‑management skills.
 * Ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
 * A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt.
The working hours for this role are expected to be approximately 35–39 hours per week, worked over five days. Flexible hours can be arranged to suit the successful candidate.
