Milk Education are recruiting for a SEN TA/LSA – Maidenhead to support pupils within a specialist SEN school catering for children with low to high autism needs. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone passionate about inclusive education and child development.
The SEN TA/LSA – Maidenhead role involves working closely with pupils with Autism and associated needs, providing tailored 1:1 and small-group support to help them access learning and develop key communication and social skills. You will gain valuable hands-on experience within Education and Training, particularly supporting neurodiverse learners.
As a SEN TA/LSA – Maidenhead, you will support pupils’ emotional regulation, behaviour, and engagement while working collaboratively with teachers and therapists. The school places a strong emphasis on staff development and offers ongoing Education and Training to ensure you feel confident in supporting complex needs.
This SEN TA/LSA – Maidenhead position is ideal for aspiring Speech and Language Therapists or aspiring Psychologists seeking meaningful experience within Education and Training before progressing into further study or specialist roles.
What You’ll Be Doing:
1. Supporting pupils with Autism (low to high support needs)
2. Delivering 1:1 and small group interventions
3. Assisting with emotional regulation and sensory needs
4. Working alongside teachers and SEN professionals
Essential Skills / Experience:
