The role

To work as an effective member of the team to help raise the firms profile, by supporting on BD and marketing initiatives to develop new business for the firm.

Key Accountabilities include:

* Maintaining administrative records, including a regional planner document, ROI trackers, mailing lists and CRM data, budget tracking
* Provide support/coordination of Freeths regional/sector events. Including:
o Pre event support: invite copy, managing delegate lists/internal attendees, name badges, logistics including catering, third party networks including East Midlands Chamber and CBI
o On event support: registrations, meet and greet
o Supporting post event with follow-up, debrief, updating CRM, maintaining ROI records
* Liaising with internal and external support functions as appropriate including designers, facilities, catering, reception, PR, etc.
* Assisting fee earners with their attendance to awards, dinners and client entertainment networking activity through booking tickets, managing the bookings via event organisers/portals and assisting with travel and restaurant bookings where necessary.
* Maintaining business development pipelines, including attending meetings with a BD manager and ensuring lawyers carry out scheduled activities.
* Researching industry events for lawyers to attend and managing bookings.
* Preparing content and mailing lists for email campaigns, ensuring accuracy and compliancy to for GDPR policy. This will include writing copy for invitations, webpages and social media posts.
* Attending meetings with internal sector focus groups to plan business development activities for that sector, alongside a BD manager.
* Co-ordinating newsletters and regular marketing and event materials in line with strategic plans for sectors.
* Working closely with the marketing function to produce materials and act as the intermediary to the fee earners to manage the expectations and workflow.
* A working knowledge of a proprietary CRM system or MS office system is desirable.
* Maintaining CRM records, research clients and potential clients and preparing reports.
* General administrative and ad-hoc tasks supporting marketing activity.
