CACI Ltd seek an for a multiple Wintel Engineers to join the team and work with one of our customers based in Crawley. This role does require someone to be onsite 5 days per week.
Your key responsibilities
* Build a new VM running Windows Server 2019, 2022, or 2025,
* Join it to the domain and register it with support services (e.g., security, patching),
* Install dependencies and supporting roles,
* Work with the BAU team or product owner to install the application and migrate data,
* Once the application has been tested, back up the existing VM, refresh migrated data, and supplant the existing VM (by IP migration or client re-configuration),
* Deactivate services on the old VM and allow a two-week cooling-off period before powering it off and later removing it from the estate
