Job Title: Kitchen Porter / Pot Wash (Part-Time – 20 Hours)
Location: Beverley, East Yorkshire
Hours: 20 hours per week
Pay: Competitive, based on experience
Plates by Oxalis is a new independent restaurant opening in Beverley, led by chef-owner David Tait. We're looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter / Pot Wash to join the team as we open.
This role is essential to the smooth running of the kitchen and would suit someone who takes pride in keeping things clean, organised, and moving efficiently.
The Role:
* Washing dishes, pans, and kitchen equipment
* Keeping the pot wash and kitchen areas clean and organised
* Assisting with basic kitchen cleaning and waste management
* Supporting the chefs during service when needed
* Following food safety and hygiene standards at all times
Hours:
* Around 20 hours per week
* Mainly evenings and weekends
* Shifts discussed in advance and rota'd fairly
