Position: Office Administrator (part time) Company: Scottish Highers Online Full Job Description An exciting opportunity to work in the centre of Perth for a rapidly growing Private School. Working alongside the Directors and Senior Management teams, you will have the opportunity to learn new skills and grow within the company. KeyResponsibilities Managing and distributing mail, dealing with couriers, photocopying, filing document and booking meetings. Answering phone calls, taking messages and responding to emails. Maintaining / ordering office supplies to include stationery, refreshments and equipment such as printers and photocopiers. Assisting with health and safety compliance and general office tidiness. Providing support to other staff members, including secretarial and reception cover as required. Operating computerised systems for records, information and communication. Assisting clients as directed. RequiredSkillsandQualifications A minimum of three Highers, including Higher English. A qualification in Admin and IT would be advantageous. Basic computer literacy and experience of using Microsoft Office (Word and Excel). Strong organisation and communication skills, attention to details and the ability to multitask. Professional appearance and manner for interacting with colleagues and visitors. WorkEnvironment Comfortable office in the heart of Perth. Monday Thursday 10am 2pm (with occasional overtime during s=busy periods). Interaction with multiple personnel including tutors, students and senior management. Occasional travel between office locations may be required. CareerProgression The role provides basic office experience as a stepping-stone to more senior administrative positions. Natural progression includes roles such as senior administrator, office manager or senior administrative positions. Ongoing training and support will be provided to help develop skills and advance your career.
