We are seeking a highly-skilled Automation Engineer with extensive hands-on experience in Java and Selenium.
The ideal candidate should possess investment banking experience, a proven track record of QA in Front Office Trading Systems, excellent communication skills, and expertise in industry-standard tools such as Jira, ALM, Zephyr, Confluence, Jenkins, OpenShift, and Jenkins pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop automation scripts and framework libraries for UI and API testing.
* Participate actively in Delivery Feature Teams, analyzing impacts of design and implementation.
* Define test plans and test cases for functional and end-to-end testing.
* Drive automation within sprints for Feature Deliveries, promoting best practices.
* Perform root cause analysis of defects and manage fix/retest cycles.
* Generate test reports to communicate delivery status to stakeholders.
* Review runbooks to mitigate rollout risks.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, Dev, Product) to ensure quality delivery.
* Troubleshoot issues related to Linux, containers, virtualization, and storage environments.
* Mentor team members on technical and domain-related queries.
* Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the QA team.
* Work effectively in a fast-paced, global, and complex environment, adapting to changing priorities.
Required Qualifications & Experience
* Proven QA delivery experience for Front Office Trading Systems.
* Experience in Investment Banking Markets Technology domain.
* Hands-on QA automation experience (UI and API).
* Strong Java programming skills.
* Expertise in Selenium WebDriver and Playwright for UI automation.
* Experience developing stubs and drivers.
* Proficiency with Git for version control.
* Experience with CI tools like Jenkins or TeamCity.
* Active contribution to Cucumber automation frameworks.
* Experience with ALM, Zephyr, Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, OpenShift, Splunk.
* Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a global team environment.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Desired Domain Experience
* Experience working on Single Dealer Platforms.
* FX and Local Market experience.
