A well-established and highly regarded firm is looking for an experienced Residential Conveyancing Secretary to join its busy and friendly team. Known for its strong community presence and high standards, the firm blends traditional values with a modern approach to legal services.
The Role
You’ll provide key secretarial and administrative support to two fee earners, assisting with a range of residential conveyancing matters, including lease extensions. This is a varied role requiring strong organisation and the ability to keep transactions moving smoothly from instruction to completion.
Key Responsibilities
1. Providing full secretarial support to conveyancing fee earners
2. Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and solicitors
3. Audio typing and preparing legal documents
4. Managing client onboarding and related administration
5. Preparing fee estimates and quotations
6. Supporting files through to completion, including post-completion work
About You
7. Ideally 3+ years’ experience in a residential conveyancing secretarial role
8. Experience with post-completion work (SDLT returns & Land Registry applications)
9. Strong understanding of the conveyancing process
10. Excellent typing, organisation, and communication skills
11. Confident using case management systems and Microsoft Office
12. A proactive, team-oriented approach with great attention to detail
