Pay: £139.9 - £239.9 (PAYE no umbrella deductions)
About the role:
justteachers is seeking a dedicated and resilient SEN Teacher to join a specialist SEN school in Nuneaton. The school supports pupils with a range of additional needs including Autism (ASC), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), and complex needs.
This role is due to start at the beginning of March 2026 and will run until Christmas 2026, with the potential to be extended. Both full-time and part-time applicants will be considered for the right candidate. You will be responsible for delivering a differentiated curriculum tailored to meet pupils EHCP targets, creating a structured and supportive learning environment that promotes both academic and personal development.
Key Requirements:
* Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual pupil needs.
* Adapt the curriculum to meet EHCP outcomes and learning objectives.
* Create a positive, inclusive and well-structured classroom environment.
* Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SENCO, therapists and external professionals.
* Implement effective behaviour management strategies using positive approaches.
* Monitor, assess and track pupil progress, maintaining accurate records.
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS).
* Experience working within an SEN or alternative provision setting (desirable).
* Strong classroom management and relationship-building skills.
* A minimum of two references covering the past two years, including your most recent employer (education-based references preferred).
