What our newest family worker says about the team:
“I joined the Children with Disabilities team in September 2025, having previously worked as an Assistant Educational Psychologist for a number of years across other local authorities. My experience to date had been centred around supporting children, young people, and their families within education settings, and I am looking forward to broadening my experience of supporting families at home and within the community.
Starting any new role in a new team can be scary but the team were so welcoming and supportive; they really put me at ease, and I quickly realised I had nothing to be nervous about. There’s lots to learn and my colleagues have been fantastic at showing me step by step and reassuring me that no question is a silly one! I’m really looking forward to getting into the role more and supporting the children, young people, and families.”
