Rate:
SFIA 2: £48 per hour (£360 per day)
SFIA 3: £60 per hour (£450 per day)
Please note: Candidates must submit at SFIA Grade 2 or 3 only. There is no flexibility on the rates .
Vetting Level: Enhanced DV Clearance (Active clearance required – no sponsorship available)
Key Responsibilities As a Delivery Support Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring robust financial management, effective planning, and strong governance across delivery activities. Key responsibilities include:
Financial Management & Assurance Produce interim and final accruals, submitting completed outputs to the Financial Analysis Team
Perform variance analysis, investigating discrepancies and providing clear variance commentary
Deliver commitment profiling, identifying existing and future financial commitments
Carry out forecasting activities, including monthly checkpoints and updating forecasts within the Fi-App
Provide financial assurance, identifying and escalating issues to the Project Manager or Delivery Lead where appropriate
Risk & Issue Management Create, maintain, and assure risk and issue logs
Ensure risks and issues are regularly reviewed, updated, and governed appropriately
Facilitate risk and issue workshops
Produce high-quality risk and issue reports to support effective decision-making
Planning & Governance Create and maintain delivery plans, ensuring accurate and timely updates
Provide assurance that planning information is accurate, controlled, and compliant with governance requirements
Effectively manage planning processes and data
Produce regular planning and progress reports
Essential Requirements SFIA Level 2 or 3 qualification (mandatory)
Proven experience in delivery support, financial analysis, forecasting, planning, or assurance roles
Strong analytical skills with the ability to investigate issues and present clear, concise commentary
Experience working within governance-driven or complex programme environments
Ability to work on-site 3–4 days per week in Cheltenham or Manchester
Active Enhanced DV Clearance (applications without active clearance cannot be considered)
