We’re looking for a dynamic and experienced Team Manager to lead our Analytics team through an exciting period of transformation. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about coaching, agile delivery, and modern data platforms. Team Leadership & Development Line management of a team of data professionals Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and career development planning Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to support individual and team growth Agile Delivery Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other Scrum ceremonies Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes and team collaboration Technical Oversight & Migration Support Support the team in migrating from a legacy UK on-premise SQL Server/SSIS/SSRS stack to a modern Databricks Power BI solution hosted in AWS/Azure Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure smooth transition and adoption of new technologies Stakeholder Engagement Act as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment between business needs and analytics delivery Translate business requirements into actionable data initiatives What will you need? Proven experience managing and developing high-performing analytics or data teams Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience hosting Scrum ceremonies Solid technical background in data platforms, ideally with exposure to: SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS (legacy) Databricks, Power BI, AWS (modern stack) Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Comfortable working in a hybrid model with regular office presence in Stoke-on-Trent
