Job Description:
Regional HR Business Partner – Midlands (UK-wide coverage)
Based in the Midlands
Initial 12 Month FTC
Our client, a leading logistics business, is seeking an experienced Regional HR Business Partner to join their team. This is a UK-wide role, based in the Midlands, focused on stakeholder management and strategic HR partnership rather than ER casework.
The Role
The Regional HR Business Partner will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering the people agenda across a complex and fast-moving environment. Acting as a trusted advisor, they will guide and influence senior stakeholders, particularly in relation to driver engagement and retention, while ensuring alignment between people initiatives and business objectives.
This role requires a self-sufficient and solutions-focused individual who can operate with autonomy, balance competing priorities, and deliver meaningful impact across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities
* Partnering with senior leaders to deliver strategic HR guidance and drive organisational performance.
* Leading and supporting people initiatives that focus on driver engagement and operational workforce support.
* Building strong relationships with stakeholders across the UK, influencing and challenging where required.
* Delivering HR projects and programmes to improve capability, culture, and business outcomes.
* Supporting the continuous development of HR practices in a complex, unionised environment.
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
* Proven HR Business Partner experience in a large, complex organisation, ideally within logistics, transport, or a related sector.
* Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build credibility quickly.
* Experience working effectively in a unionised environment, with the ability to build constructive relationships with trade union representatives.
* A proactive, self-sufficient, and solutions-oriented approach.
* Resilience and adaptability when navigating organisational complexity.
* Commercial awareness and the ability to align HR strategy with operational goals.
* Salary up to £70,000
* Exceptional benefits package including travel, pension, and more
* The opportunity to play a key role in a leading logistics organisation with a strong people agenda
