Job Description:
The role: In Lead Advisory, we offer comprehensive financial advisory services, covering corporate finance, acquisitions, disposals, restructuring M&A, valuations, and debt & capital advisory. We serve various industry sectors, including corporates, private equity firms, government departments, and private sector entities.
Our EURI (Energy, Utilities, Resources & Infrastructure) Valuations practice advises on valuations of shares, businesses, and portfolio companies. We serve infrastructure funds, private businesses, government offices, private equity houses, and individuals. Clients seek our valuation advice for transactions, restructuring, disputes, tax compliance, and regulatory requirements. We also assist clients with strategic valuation issues, helping them grow their businesses and make informed investment and capital decisions.
What your days will look like:
As a Manager, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive advisory and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. Manage day-to-day project delivery, working with other team members and reporting to Senior Managers and above
2. Apply technical skills, such as financial modelling, analysis of comparable companies, and valuation concepts
3. Establish effective working relationships directly with clients
4. Participate in business development activities to identify, research, and pursue opportunities with new and existing clients
This role is for you if:
1. Possess an ACA qualification (or international equivalent) or have equivalent work experience, including international candidates qualifying through experience in their home country
2. Have relevant experience in a professional services setting—valuations, corporate finance, financial analysis, and modelling
3. Previous experience in the EURI sectors is preferred
4. Demonstrate strong analytical skills and lateral thinking
5. Quickly grasp complex commercial issues
6. Show project management skills
7. High proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
8. Work effectively in teams across all levels
