As a Senior Solution Consultant, youll play a pivotal role in making sure every engagement delivers genuine, measurable business value and real-world operational impact.In this high impact role within our Value Creation & Enablement team, youll lead value driven discovery conversations, design outcome-led solutions, and demonstrate customer impact using the MEDDPICC framework. Youll define a customers before state, shape meaningful after outcomes, and build the proof-of-value that underpins Microlises market story.Youll be the person who ensures every opportunity is rooted in real customer pain, every solution is built around outcomes, and every deal is backed by evidence-led value. If this sounds like the job for you, get your application in now!What you will be doing:Lead value-led discovery with customers to identify, quantify and validate operational, financial and compliance painLead discovery across complex transport and logistics environments, including understanding how TMS platforms underpin planning, execution and complianceMap customer transport and logistics technology stacks including TMS, routing, planning, compliance and back-office systems to identify integration driven value opportunitiesCapture customer baseline metrics, inefficiencies, risks and costs as part of MEDDPICC qualificationEngage with operational, commercial and IT stakeholders to understand current-state architecture and future-state ambitionConduct customer site visits to understand real-world workflows and document value insightDesign customer solutions around measurable business outcomes, not just product capabilityLead technical solution design for large, multi-system opportunities prior to deal closeBuild Proof of Value environments and demo journeys that show operational and commercial impactProduce high-quality solution proposals, value cases, ROI models and cost-of-inaction analysisBuild value-led sales collateral that articulates customer before and after statesContribute to Microlises global library of case studies, proof-of-value assets and customer referencesFeed validated customer pain and outcome data into Product and Engineering teamsParticipate in Product Steering, Microlise Direct and Labs forumsEnsure new propositions are anchored in verified customer need and measurable impactDeliver consistent, high-quality demonstrations focused on customer outcomesMaintain deep product, market and industry knowledgeSupport the standardisation of proposals, demos, pricing and value documentationContribute to continuous improvement of Pre-Sales qualification and proof-of-value processesAct as a subject matter expert and mentor within the Pre-Sales teamWhat were looking for:Deep understanding of Microlise products, customers and use casesStrong understanding of Transport Management Systems (TMS) and their role in modern logistics operationsExperience in customer-facing technical consulting, solution architecture or pre-salesStrong grasp of value-based selling and outcome-led solution designWorking knowledge of MEDDPICC, particularly Metrics and PainAbility to quantify operational, financial and compliance impactStrong commercial acumen and business judgementAdvanced presentation, proposal writing and commercial modelling skillsConfident engaging with senior stakeholders and operational leadersAnalytical mindset with a passion for solving real customer problemsWhy Microlise?Proudly Midlands-based, Microlise has been operating for over thirty years, and recently became a Publicly Listed Company with shares trading on the London Stock Exchange.
