Job Overview
As a Store Team Member - Cleaner at Home Bargains, you will greet customers with a smile, assist with product queries, and maintain the cleanliness of the store. Your responsibilities include operating cleaning equipment, cleaning staff areas and bathrooms, and ensuring store standards are met. You will also perform general store duties to support seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Welcome and assist customers, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
2. Operate a Hako floor scrubbing machine to keep store floors clean and debris-free.
3. Clean and sanitise staff areas, bathrooms, and communal spaces.
4. Dust and wipe shelves, displays, and counters to maintain organization.
5. Assist with restocking shelves and replenishing merchandise.
6. Work with team members to address maintenance or cleanliness issues.
7. Uphold store standards and perform additional cleaning duties as needed.
Minimum Criteria to Apply
* Previous experience in cleaning or a fast-paced environment is advantageous but not required.
* Reliable with a strong work ethic.
* Polite, professional, and courteous demeanor.
* Flexibility to work early shifts starting at 5 am or late shifts until 10 pm.
* Eager to contribute to the store's success.
