Position: As a Commercial Litigation Solicitor (NQ-1 year PQE), you will manage your own caseload of commercial disputes from inception through to resolution, taking responsibility for the day-to-day conduct of matters. This will include drafting a wide range of legal documents such as claims, defences, court applications and witness statements, as well as conducting detailed legal research and analysis of relevant case law and legislation. You will also be responsible for preparing hearing, trial and arbitration bundles, maintaining accurate and well-organised files, and ensuring all procedural deadlines are met. The role involves regular and direct interaction with clients, counsel, experts and external bodies, including the courts, requiring clear communication and the ability to build strong professional relationships. You will attend client meetings, provide clear and timely updates on case progress, and play an active role in the preparation of trial documentation and wider litigation strategy. In addition, you will coordinate with external parties as required and manage billing and time recording in line with the firm's practices.
