About the Role
As an Administration and Data Worker with Aquarius Young People’s Team Bedfordshire, you’ll play a key role in keeping our service running smoothly and effectively. Based in Bedford, you’ll provide essential administrative, data, and communication support to help deliver high-quality services to young people and their families affected by alcohol and drug use.
This is a varied and fast-paced role where no two days are the same. From coordinating appointments and booking venues to supporting marketing activity and maintaining accurate records, you’ll be at the heart of the team—ensuring both colleagues and clients have a seamless and positive experience.
Key Duties
1. Provide comprehensive administrative support to the service
2. Accurately input, maintain, and report on service data
3. Book appointments, training sessions, and venues
4. Support the coordination of service delivery and client engagement
5. Assist with marketing, communications, and promotional activity
6. Manage emails, diaries, and electronic filing systems
7. Respond to enquiries from clients and stakeholders via phone and face-to-face
8. Ensure all records are up to date and compliant with organisational standards
9. Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the smooth day-to-day running of the service
About You
You’re an organised and proactive individual with strong administrative and data skills. You’re confident working in a busy environment, able to manage multiple tasks, and always maintain attention to detail.
You will bring:
10. Experience in an administrative role, ideally involving data entry and reporting
11. Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and electronic communication systems
12. Confidence working with people from a wide range of backgrounds
13. Excellent organisational and time management skills
14. A flexible, can-do attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
15. Good communication skills, both written and verbal
16. GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths at Grade C or above
17. A minimum of two years free from alcohol or substance misuse
