Join our team at Heythrop Park, part of the Warner Hotels Group. This 311-bedroom hotel with two theatres, a spa, and three restaurants is set within 440 acres of parkland in the heart of the Cotswolds.

Job Summary
The Greenkeeper is responsible for maintaining the golf course and surrounding grounds to a high standard of presentation and play-ability.
This includes mowing, turf care, irrigation, bunker maintenance, and general landscape upkeep. The role requires a passion for horticulture, attention to detail, and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities
* Mow greens, tees, fairways, and roughs using hand and ride-on mowers.
* Maintain bunkers, including raking and edging.
* Repair divots, ball marks, and other course wear and tear.
* Operate and maintain irrigation systems, including manual watering and basic troubleshooting.
* Apply fertilisers, pesticides, and herbicides as directed.
* Assist in aeration, top-dressing, and turf renovation tasks.
* Maintain golf course equipment and report any issues.
* Monitor course conditions and report concerns to senior team.
* Ensure all work is carried out safely, using appropriate personal protective equipment.
* Support preparation for tournaments and special events.
Qualifications And Skills
* Previous experience in grounds maintenance or turf management preferred but not essential
* NVQ/SVQ Level 2 or 3 in Sports Turf Maintenance (or willingness to train).
* Knowledge of safe equipment handling and basic mechanical aptitude.
* Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required.
* Physical fitness and ability to work in outdoor conditions year-round.
* Team player with a proactive and flexible attitude.
