Main Duties of the Job
As a Senior Care Assistant, your focus will be to support and work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff. Key responsibilities include monitoring resident wellbeing, implementing and evaluating person-centered care plans, supporting medication requirements, supervising staff, and acting as a key point of contact for residents, families, and professionals.

We are seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join our award-winning team as a Senior Care Assistant.
About the Role
Your role as a Senior Care Assistant involves supporting the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care and providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff. Other responsibilities include:
* Monitoring the wellbeing of residents and updating care plans accordingly.
* Participating in person-centered care planning, implementation, and evaluation.
* Supporting residents with medication.
* Supervising staff and supporting their development.
* Being a key contact for residents, families, and professionals, addressing requests and escalating concerns as needed.
About You
To succeed, you should embody our values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable. The ideal candidate will:
* Hold an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
* Have at least 2 years' experience in a similar environment.
* Be an effective communicator, both verbally and in writing.
* Have a positive attitude towards supporting residents and staff.
* Be responsive and flexible in responsibilities.
Additional Requirements
* A DBS Disclosure check (cost covered by Avery Healthcare).
* Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
