The Role and Responsibilities
The IT Support Analyst is responsible for providing technical assistance and expertise to ensure the efficient operation of the end-user computing environment. This role involves diagnosing and resolving complex hardware, software, and network issues, as well as deploying and maintaining IT equipment. The Desktop Support Analyst will manage operational day-to-day activities, support users in the region, and ensure a high standard of delivery using industry best practices.
Specific duties will include:
* Provide 2nd line support to end-users for desktop, laptop, and peripheral issues, ensuring a high standard of service and quick resolution of incidents.
* Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of end-user hardware and software, ensuring reliable and secure operation.
* Participate in the deployment of new desktop/laptop hardware, ensuring compliance with the companies Change Management procedures.
* Provide support for mobile devices, including configuration and troubleshooting of smartphones and tablets.
* Engage with the ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution and proper documentation of issues, maintaining high closure metrics.
The Requirements
You will ideally hold an ITIL qualification and be a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA). You should be proficient in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware, software, and operating system issues (including Windows 10 & 11 and the Microsoft 365 Apps for enterprise suite).
Experience with the falling would be preferred:
* Software and OS configuration using Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot.
* Microsoft Intune Mobile Device Management (MDM) 1st Level Support.
* Break-fix on end-user devices, printers, phones, or other required systems.
* Familiarity with IT Infrastructure technologies eg a basic understanding of WAN, LAN & WLAN and competence in Active Directory Domain Services
