Our client, a Global Bank, are looking for a Head of Compliance to join their Compliance team based in London.
Responsibilities below:
* To provide advisory support to senior management on compliance matters, emerging risks and regulatory expectations;
* To provide guidance to business units on regulatory interpretation and compliance obligations
* To participate in strategic decision-making to ensure compliance consideration are embedded in new products, services and initiatives;
* To provide senior management with assurances, through MI and regular reports, that business is conducted in accordance with all regulatory requirements/
* To oversee the development of the Compliance framework of policies and procedures and to ensure it is robust and embedded, and that there is appropriate monitoring of this through the Compliance risk assessment programme.
* To ensure that all staff are made aware of, and understand, their corporate and personal responsibilities in respect to the regulatory requirements applicable.
* To lead and manage the Compliance team, including having full awareness and oversight of all procedures within the Compliance area and ensuring that these are fully documented.
Previous experience being a Head of Compliance is preferred.
