Role: Electrical Design Engineer
Location: Liverpool
Type: Permanent (Hybrid working available)
Salary: Circa GBP 40,000 - 55,000 depending on experience
Job Summary: A UK-based manufacturing company is looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.
Qualifications:
* Degree, HND or an equivalent Electrical engineering or Automation qualification
* Minimum 3 years' experience working with CAD for electrical design
* Any PLC knowledge would be desirable too, ideally Siemens (S7, TIAPortal) but others will be considered such as Allen Bradley
* Panel design experience, ideally working with EPlan 8 or AutoCAD
* Strong communication skills
* Ability to work alone or as part of a team
Responsibilities:
* Designing and developing control systems for manufacturing equipment
* Developing electrical designs using EPLAS software
* Ensuring work complies with industry standards such as ATEX
* Liaising with customers and other departments to ensure requirements are being met
* Ensuring health and safety regulations are being adhered to
