Join our client’s team as a Van Technician – a vital role within a leading Highway Maintenance Company based in the Larbert area.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and experienced Van Mechanic to progress their automotive career in a reputable company committed to employee development and operational excellence.

* OTE (On-Target Earnings) approximately £53,000
* Monday to Friday working hours from 07:00 to 17:00
* Saturdays paid at x1.5 rate

Duties of the Van Technician:
* Diagnose vehicle faults using manual methods and digital diagnostic tools
* Prepare accurate cost and time estimates for repairs
* Repair and replace faulty components on vans and light commercial vehicles
* Refer complex repairs or replacements to specialist technicians
* Maintain an organised store of parts in collaboration with the Stores team
* Liaise with Transport Managers to ensure accurate vehicle records as a Van Technician
* Mentor apprentices and work experience individuals, supporting their development
* Uphold health and safety standards and company policies across all maintenance activities
Requirements of the Van Technician:
* Level 2 or Level 3 qualification as a Van Technician preferred, but relevant experience will also be considered
* Full UK Driving Licence is essential
* Proven experience repairing and maintaining vans and light commercial vehicles
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Self-motivated with a proactive attitude
* Strong problem-solving skills
* Willingness to undertake training to meet professional competencies and company standards
