Your new role
Be the property energy management technical lead, providing advice to property teams and internal stakeholders.
Develop and manage an estate-wide Utility & Asset Metering strategy to enhance data collection and visibility of energy consumption and renewable generation data at site level, reporting through a dedicated energy management platform.
Develop and manage a robust Monitoring & Targeting (M&T) program across all utility meters and asset data to drive energy reduction and minimize energy waste.
Provide expert analysis of energy data to improve understanding of the building portfolio and its energy consumption profiles.
Identify and respond quickly to consumption changes within the estate through data investigation.
Conduct onsite energy audits of various buildings as needed, identifying opportunities for energy optimization and carbon reduction.
Develop and produce business cases for energy reduction and renewable energy generation projects, supporting capital projects and local Planned Maintenance Programs (PMP).
What you'll need to succeed
Experience in utility metering strategy, energy monitoring, and targeting. Energy auditing experience is also essential.
Proven success in a similar energy management advisory role across a multi-site estate with various building types and applications (Solar PV, HVAC, Lighting, BMS & Controls), ideally within the built environment sector.
Qualifications such as a B.Sc./NVQ Level 7 in Energy Management/Sustainability or equivalent, with professional membership in organizations like the Energy Institute, Energy Managers Association, or CIBSE.
Strong understanding of legislative requirements such as ESOS, Energy Performance of Buildings (EPB), Part L Building Regulations, F Gas Regulations, and the Climate Change Act 2008.
What you'll get in return
Salary between £40,000 - £56,000
Car Allowance
Hybrid working: 2 days in the office, 3 days remote
